Every day, she bears the burden of those heavy doors, still uncertain whether she can muster up the strength to step inside.

If these are the doors of a church or cathedral, she might think that there is no need to go any further. She made it! There is no special reason to be in a front row to pray and finally rest. Or she might be a homeless woman seeking a few minutes of shelter in a safe place. I hope either one – finds comfort and peace!

Tia Pepa, a great resolution it would be, no doubt about it, if peace and comfort follow her wherever she may go.
Mario, is there really a conclusion to this story? She sits in the threshold, neither in or out. Doubtful, contemplative? Afraid, maybe, to leave the comfort of those receding rays that fail to make it all the way inside the church.
Great versions, you guys. Keep them coming!

In the journey of life you may occasionally reach a destination, yet without the need to “enter”, you still feel the sense of accomplishment that comes with it, because after all it’s the voyage that counts. Then you take a break; enjoy triumph before you take you final steps!!

Hello, Juan and Ana. I read your comment that concludes: “if peace and comfort follow her wherever she may go”. But as with anything, you need to work hard to get where you want to be. You need to return many times to where you started. Peace, comfort, love, faith, truthfulness, loyalty get stronger the more you return to those doors – seeking – patiently and with passion… (like going to a gym: the more often you go, the stronger you get! Love you both so dearly!
